oregon111 57 Share Posted July 8 The current spray is that Oregon is out of the big10. SEC is full of good teams. The pac12 now sucks. The big12 is a Junior Varsity League. Only the ACC has any kind of star power. Oregon would at least give Clemson a tough game. Oregon would play Miami and Fla St competitively. The ACC could add Oregon, Washington, Utah and how about Stanford? Some pac12 teams join the big12 and others join the Mtn West - the pac12 is dead. The ACC could also pick up a couple of big12 teams and make a huge conference. Oklahoma St being the biggest prize left in that conference. At this point, it is not about local locations - it is all about competition on the field and eyes on the TV sets. With the big10 out of the picture, the ACC is the next best choice because the SEC is already all booked up.
oregon111 57 Author Share Posted July 8 Not so fast... Now they are saying that Clemson, Fla St go to the SEC and Miami is going to the big10. And they are saying that ND has turned down the big10 for years and that the big10 will move on to Oregon, NC, Stanford, and Miami. It is crazy right now and nobody knows what will go down. You are right, things are crazy right now, oh by the way does anyone think the "NCAA" body will still be around in 3 years ?? Conferences could be a "self governing body". Won't that be fun. What's right to do in one conference won't be ok in the other. Complete polarization, which seems to be the way of the world.
